Today I am going to show you how to use this app, the type of services it can offer on Fiverr, and the costs applied for the service, I will show you the detailed procedure to create a seller account and publish your first ad, either by computer or from smartphones and tablets.

What can I sell on Fiverr?
Before entering this guide and explaining how to sell on Fiverr, it may be useful to know the types of services that you can offer on this platform and the commissions that the service applies for each order that is successful.

You should know that you can create ads to sell digital services, such as creating a logo, optimizing a website, translating a text, or selling an online course. There are 7 main sales categories and more than 200 subcategories available on Fiverr - here are some examples.

- Digital marketing: it is the section in which the services that cover web marketing are offered, such as the creation of social campaigns, the optimization of Internet sites in SEO, and much more.

- Video and Animation: the section dedicated to video editing professionals who have excellent skills with video editing programs, creating animations and movies with special effects.
- Music and audio: Musicians, producers, sound technicians, and all those who deal with the musical world can offer numerous services, such as the creation of sound effects and jingles. In addition, it is possible to make your own voice available for composing the songs.
- Programming and technology: the category dedicated to programmers and developers capable of creating Internet sites on demand, or solving problems of various kinds related to the world of software.
- Business: for everything related to the world of business, from financial advice to creating business presentations.
- Lifestyle: It is the ideal category for those who want to offer online courses, but also food, spiritual, and much more.
As for costs, posting a sales announcement on Fiverr is completely free. However, the service applies a 20% commission for each successful order.
Also, you should know that the payment by the buyer is immediate, but the payment is credited only at the end of the work, within 14 days from the delivery of the order.
Sell on Fiverr from your computer
Selling on Fiver from your PC is a simple and fast procedure. First, you must create an account and enter as much information as possible about your work experience and skills, to increase the possibility of selling. Then it is enough to create a Gig, which is the announcement of the sale of the digital service to offer on Fiverr and wait for the first orders.
To continue, then linked to the main page of Fiverr, click on the item Become a seller located in the upper right corner and, in the new screen that appears, press the button Become a seller.
Now if you already have a Fiverr account as a buyer, choose the Register option and log in with your credentials. Otherwise, select one of the available Continue with Facebook or Continue with Google entries to sign up with Fiverr using your Facebook account or your Google account.
Alternatively, enter your email address and click the continue button for traditional email registration.
In the latter case, also enter the username and password to be used in the service in the fields Choose a username and Choose a password, press the join button, and click continue.
In the Personal Information section, enter your first and last name (in the First and Last name fields), click on the camera icon visible next to the Profile photo option, to upload your own photo to use as a profile image and enter a description of your job, your work experiences and anything else you think is necessary to get more sales opportunities in the description field (at least 150 characters)
In the languages section, specify the languages you speak, your level of proficiency in the language and proficiency fields, and press the add button to add the language in question to your profile.
Press the Add New button to add new languages and press the Continue item to access the Professional Information section.
Now, specify your work experiences ( Digital Marketing, Graphics, and design, Writing and translation, Music and audio, etc.), through the drop-down menu Your occupation, and indicate the start year and the end year of the job, through year drop-down menus, place the checkmark next to your best capabilities (minimum 2 and maximum 5 options) among the proposals on the screen.
To add new work experiences, click the Add New option and repeat the procedure just described. After that, specify your skills and degree of proficiency: beginner to indicate that you are a beginner; intermediate if you have a good level of knowledge and expert if you are an expert on the subject.
If you wish, in the education and certification sections, indicate your study path and any courses you have attended. Although they are not mandatory information, I recommend that you enter as much information as possible to create a professional profile that allows you, later, to have more sales opportunities.
After clicking the Continue button, choose whether you want to link your Fiverr profile to your social networks ( LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google ), by pressing the corresponding Connect button, and further by clicking the continue button.
In the Account Security section, press the Add Phone Number button to add your phone number: the latter will not be visible to other users, but will be used to verify your identity and inspire greater confidence in potential buyers.
Then enter your phone number in the Enter your phone number field and choose whether you want to verify your identity by phone call ( Verify by call ) or by SMS security code ( Verify by SMS ).
Once you have verified your phone number, go to your email inbox, locate the email that Fiverr previously sent you, and click the Activate your account item to verify your email address as well.
Finally, return to the Account Security screen, click the Continue button, and create your first ad to complete the seller registration and create your first sales ad.
On the new screen that appears, enter the title of your concert in the Ad Title field, select a category ( Music & Audio, Lifestyle, Digital Marketing, Business, Programming & Technology, etc.) and a subcategory via the Select a Category and Select a Subcategory drop-down menu and specify the type of service you intend to offer via the Type of Service drop-down menu.
Enter a maximum of 5 keywords in the Search labels field and click the Save and continue button to access the section to set the costs of the service offered.
In Prices, you can create up to three different types of purchase packages for your service; otherwise, move the lever next to the 3-pack option from ON to OFF to set up a one-time purchase solution.
Once you have chosen, create the purchase packages by entering the name, description, and specifying delivery times and price.
Press the Save and continue button and enter a description of the service offered (maximum 1,200 characters) in the description field.
If you want, in the FAQ section, you can add FAQs (possible FAQs) that may be helpful to the buyer and click the Save and continue button.
On the Tell your buyer what you need to get a started screen, enter the information you need to do your job better (450 characters maximum) and the buyer will have to provide you after purchasing your service, while you are in the Create your gallery section, please upload at least one video, image, or PDF file that best supports your offering or showcases your previous work.
Finally, click on the button. Save and continue and click on the Publish element to publish your ad. To see the list of published concerts, click on the announcements entry present in the main menu of your account and, in the Active announcements section, you can see the list of active announcements and related statistics (views, clicks, orders placed, orders canceled, etc.).
If, instead, you want to see the orders received, select the item ordered in the menu located at the top, choose the order of your interest, and click the button to accept.
A countdown will automatically appear depending on the delivery time you specified when creating your ad. Once you have completed your work, return to the orders section, choose the completed order, and press the Submit your order, Upload job, and Submit job buttons to send the job to the buyer.
Sell on Fiverr from smartphones and tablets
If you wonder if it is possible to sell on Fiverr from smartphones and tablets, you should know that through the application for Android and iOS devices, you can create your own account, view your listings and manage orders, but you cannot create a new concert or edit your profile information.
After downloading Fiverr from your device's store, launch the application in question by tapping its icon and choose the Become a seller option.
On the new screen that is displayed, tap the continue button and tap on the Login item to log into your account.
If, on the other hand, you have not yet registered with Fiverr, choose the option Connect with Facebook to register using your Facebook account, the entry Connect with Google to create an account on Fiverr through your Google account, or press the button Sign up with an email to register via your email address.
In the latter case, enter the requested data in the fields e-mail, Public username, and password, and press the buttons Register and I have it.
To complete the registration and activate your account, go to your email inbox, locate the email sent by Fiverr and press the Activate your account button.
Now, start the browser installed on your device (eg chrome on Android and Safari on iOS), connected to the official Fiverr website, and put a checkmark next to the option I am not a robot, to prove to be a “human” user ”.
Then press the ☰ button located in the upper left corner and choose the Login option, to access Fiverr with the data created right now.
After logging into your account, click on the My Dashboard item, and on the new screen that appears, choose the Start selling option.
Now tap on the Become a seller button to enter your personal data, information about your studies, your skills, your professional experiences, and complete the seller's profile.
Since the procedure for completing your seller profile and posting an ad on Fiverr from your smartphone and tablet is identical to what I already described in the previous paragraphs, you can follow the instructions for the selling procedure on Fiverr from your computer.
